For more information, visit our MicronFog  website Using a simple pressurised water supply, the Renby Fogging System is far less expensive to operate and maintain than traditional compressed air injection systems. The systems are designed for both interior and exterior applications and can even be used to remove workplace related odours economically. How it works The Renby Fogging System works as follows: first, it produces a high concentration of 10 to 12 micron fog droplets. This size water droplet (10 - 12 millionths of a metre in diameter) optimally suppresses respirable PM 10 and smaller dust particles. Small particles of dust adhere to the fog droplets. As these grow, their weight increases such that they then fall out of the air. The water droplet size is critical - much larger - and smaller dust particles will bounce off the surface tension of the droplet. The systems can effectively remove breathable and fugitive dust in the range 0.1 to 1000microns. Importantly, in the increasingly complex legal environment, Renby Fogging Systems meet or exceed the EPA PM 10 standards for dust suppression. TOP OF PAGE
