Hardened Steel

Abrasion resistant, through hardened steel plate. Available in sheet form or flame cut to your requirements. A full range of thicknesses can be supplied, usually ex-stock. Hardness 400 and 500 HB average.

Hard Faced Plate

Hard faced plate is a Chrome Carbide coating deposited onto mild steel substrate. The thickness of the wear resistant layer can be varied to suit your application. It is available in sheet form or pre-cut shapes to fit into your application.

Suitable for chute linings, hammer mills and wear edge protection.

Linings in a range of different types of rubber

Rubber Linings

Using rubber compounds that have been specially formulated for maximum wear and impact resistance. Complex curves can be covered with good adhesion. This results in long life and superb abrasion resistance.

We can also supply steel backed rubber if you require a bolt in solution, this can be pre-drilled or have studs welded to the back. Just let us know the shapes you require!

Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene

A highly inert and non absorbent material. UHMW Polyethylene is a solid hard engineering plastic with considerable advantages compared to other plastic materials. Available in virgin and recycled grades. We can cut and machine to your requirements. Hopper lining fitting service available should you require.

This range of materials is especially useful for promoting flow in hoppers and chutes by discouraging rat-holing and core flow. When compared to other chute linings, polyethylene can improve the angle of friction by as much as 10 degrees!

Ceramic tiled cone - note the combination of a rubber lined flange

Ceramic Linings

The ultimate in wear resistance. We can line both flat chutes and complex curves including conical sections. The alumina tiles used have a hardness of 900 which gives a life way in excess of other materials. If this is still insufficient for your application, we can cast with even harder materials.
